抄録

An active control of the cavity noise is carried out by oscillating vortex generators. The vortex generators are designed to introduce streamwise vortices of alternate rotating directions into the shear layer. As a result, a maximum noise suppression effect that reaches 63 % of the cavity noise is achieved by oscillating the vortex generators.
