Abstract
A die life is depended on affinity of workpiece material for die material in press working. The optimum choice of die material is required for workpiece materials. However, real machine test is very difficult by using a press machine, because a lot of time and costs are spent on real machine test. The estimate of die materials is examined by the wear testing machine. But more easily test method is required, because usual wear testing takes a lot of time in lubricate condition. In this study, die materials were estimated by robustness analysis of quality engineering in a short time, and the result of estimate was considered.
