Recently, as represented for fine ceramics, it is popular to develop new function material by using the powder condition. In such materials, the material mixed state, which greatly influences on the quality of the last molding, is very important. In this study, we carry out the mixing of 2-component powder with density difference using convection motion under the vibration. However, the vertical segregation is caused by the density difference in this technique. This segregation greatly affects the mixed state. The excitation condition is different on this segregation by the particle size. In this study, the 2 component mixture experiment and the measurement of the pressure condition of container wall surface was carried. As a result, it was found that the factor of the segregation is the expansion of the powder layer and collision pattern of powder layer to the basal plane.
