Abstract

In this paper, the fatigue life characteristics of Ball Way were investigated on two loading conditions of 9.8kN, 13.7kN at room temperature. For better reliability, the Raydent surface treatment was applied, which shows excellent corrosion prevention, base material homeostasis because of brittleness deterioration, and adhesive strength with another materials. So species with the Raydent treatment and those coated with solid lubricity PTFE after the treatment were used in this investigation. Because of Raydent treatment, life values of Ball Way were a few improved on any loading conditions. Besides, species coated with PTFE after the treatment showed three times as much life values as those without the treatment.
