Abstract
This study demonstrates the flexible white LED structure with high lumen efficiency and uniform optical performance for neutral white and warm white CCT. The flexible LEDs were investigated-including PI substrate, InGaN/GaN Flip-Chip LEDs, and phosphor film. The experimental results indicate that the flexible white LED has the stable bending status and optical characteristic. Moreover, the light efficiency and the uniformity of the flexible LED can be achieved to 120lm/W and 85%. Through the implementation of this novel design to panel light source, we believe good flexible solid-state lighting sources can be realized for biomedical, signage, automotive, wearable device and general lighting application in near future.
