Due to a rapid progress in computational power, roles of numerical predictions are, in general, becoming even greater in various engineering fields. This trend is expected to continue for the coming decades as well. However, this may not necessarily eliminate the needs for experimental measurements in the future. In this short presentation, we discuss the expected future roles of, and proper relations between experimental measurements and numerical simulations in the field of fluid flow analysis.
