Water Jet Peening (WJP) technique is applied for nuclear power plant materials. In order to evaluate corrosion property of the metals treated by WJP, XPS surface analysis and anodic polarization measurement were carried out for A1070, SS400 and SUS316. In this paper, we discuss the suppressing effect of WJP for general corrosion on each material.
