Tsuruga power station unit 1(Tsuruga Unit 1) has been opepatetd more than 41-years operation. Reactor Pressure Vessel (RPV) is one of the most critical component for Aging Management Technical Evaluation (AMTE). We performed preventive countermeasures against several degradation, and have improved inspection technique. At 2010, we completed the 40-years AMTE, and concluded that most of component and structure would be maintained their integrity by continued existing preservation activities, even assuming the operation period of 60 years. In this paper, we evaluate reliability of Tsuruga Unit 1 RPV from the maintenance experience for the past 41-years and AMTE, and discuss which action is required for long term RPV operation.
