Cell mechanics is primary factor to discuss why cells take such a complicated shape and how cells can migrate. Recent research elucidated molecular components of cytoskeletons and molecular mechanisms of cellular force generation. However, strain and force of intracellular component such as cytoskeletons under cellular physiological condition is unclear yet. In this report, recent our approaches to observe cellular mechanical information are described. To measure intracellular mechanical information, we used time lapse live cell imaging for fluorescence-tagged specific proteins and image processing. Thereby, deformation of cytoskeletal fibers is evaluated.
