To take advantage of the toughness mechanism of DN gel and explore its possibility for engineering application as the structural member, the information on the mechanical behaviour of DN gel under various loading conditions is indispensable. Therefore, in this study, we at first present an application of the damage model to DN gel together with Arruda-Boyce model, which is a commonly useful model for rubber-like material. Continuously, we constitute a computational model to discuss the effect of triaxiality of the loading condition and the loading rate on the deformation behavior of DN gel.
