Effects of incorporation of thermoplastic (TP) particles into thermosetting resin as matrix resin composite laminates on mechanical properties have been reported. By this method, favorable delaminate resistance and impact resistance can be achieved and it's possible to control the mechanical properties ai longtime durability of the composite material. However, effects of the amount of TP particles on mechanic properties of composite laminates have not been discussed sufficiently. In this study, effects of amount ofr particles on mechanical properties of woven laminated composite were investigated by using tensile test, addition, the fracture mechanism was also investigated by using cyclic tensile test. As a result, the increase tensile strength was confirmed by adding TP particles. The optimal value for incorporation amount of ea TP particle was clarified. Moreover, it was confirmed that propagation of transverse cracks was restrained TP particles.
