This paper deals with the precision grinding of non-axi-symmetric aspherical surface by using a resinoid bonded diamond wheel. Precision grinding system of 3-dimentional control was developed and the effects of the wheel radius error and pickfeed rate on the workpiece form error and surface roughness were calculated and grinding conditions were determined. In the grinding tests, the non-axi-symmetric aspherical molding die made of tungsten carbide for printer fθ lens was ground precisely in trial.
