Abstract
The multi-task machine tools are spreading in order to meet the demand for reducing time from development to production. This paper describes the progress of multi-task machine tools, and the specification, the structure and how to use of the latest multi-task machine tools. The latest multi-task machine tools have miling function, C-axis, ATC, secondary spindle, Y-axis, B-axis and secondary turret. By installing secondary turret, some newly machining methods became able to do.
