Abstract
There are some guide mechanism of feed drive system of machine tools such as friction slide guideway, ball or roller guideway. And there are some position control systems such as rotary encoder feedback or linear encoder feedback. In both mechanisms and systems hybrid systems exist. In this report, their characteristics are considered in the point of view of motion accuracy.
