Abstract
It was clarified that the internal magnetic abrasive finishing process of a bent tube using the magnetic particles is effective. However, it is difficult to finish internal surfaces of thick bent tubes, because magnetic force (finishing force) weakens when the thickness of tube becomes thick. In this research, the internal magnetic abrasive finishing process of a bent tube using the magnetic tool is proposed. And the experimental device and the magnetic machining tool with flexibility were developed. Moreover, the finishing experiment of a bent tube was carried out and the usefulness of this processing method was examined.
