Recently Roller Leveler Straightening is most popular method in the mass production of screw nuts, special forging parts and so on. RLS is widely used because of its simple mechanical structure. However, machine adjustment and processing still rely on the experience and perception of the artisans, and fundamental and logical research has not advanced over the past few years. Especially the study of steel bar straightening is rarely discussed. In this paper we explain how to improve RLS problems using FEM simulation of RLS behavior.
