抄録

Semi-solid forging for female screw forming of aluminum alloy A7075 was performed. We investigated the influence of conditions manufacturing on surface quality, mold filling condition and microstructure. The molten metal was stirred to produce semi solid slurry and forged using a servo press and die cushion. A female screw without cracks was produced by applying a load of 40 ton to a semi-solidified slurry at 525 ° C for 10 seconds. The mold and hexagon socket set screw were sufficiently transferred. Female screw forming was possible under the experimental conditions. Primary crystal α aluminum became equiaxed crystal, spheroidization and miniaturization. Nominal stress strain curve and tightening torque were obtained.
