Abstract
When the transmission torque acting on a gear pair is small, non-stationary vibration caused by tooth surface separation of the gear pair may happen. The author developed the program to calculate the rotary motion of a gear system by extremely minute times. The analysis of the driving gear system of engine balancer gear illuminated that big load happens on gear surface at high rotational speed and the gear noise may be greatly affected by the accuracy of scissors gear teeth at low rotational speed.
