Abstract
Short & small size In-dash 6-discs DVD/CD Changer Mechanism has been developed as a suitable to put an In-dash to apply an entertainment system for rear seat to appreciate DVD contents. For playing DVD, we must allow to use a bigger pick-up and playing PCBs than that for CD's. In order to realize the mechanism of 1DIN size, while making the drive unit a thin shape and small to the limit, the parts layout were also elaborated. Moreover, the further thin shape mechanism has also been attained by adopting a unique drive unit traverse mechanism.
