JNC has proceeded the Feasibility Study on Commercialized Fast Reactor Cycle Systems aiming ensuring safety, economic competitiveness, efficient utilization of resources, reduction in environmental burden, and enhancement of nuclear non-proliferation since 1999. The both of a wet-type and a dry-type reprocessing process has been developed as advanced reprocessing technology. Chemical Processing Facility (CPF) is the main hot test field for these developments in JNC. Reconstruction of CPF started in 1996,and it has completed by March 2002.
