Measurements are reported of moisture adsorption / desorption properties of the desiccant rotor which includes porous calcium materials. The glass-paper-coated test piece with porous calcium materials is prepared as preliminary steps for the manufacture of the desiccant rotor. An adsorption isotherm of the test piece is obtained. It is indicated that there is a sharp increase in the high relative humidity range. The hysteresis between adsorbing and desorbing is not shown. Adsorption / desorption cycle up to ten times examination results in repeatable cyclic characteristics. The desiccant rotor is manufactured by corrugating porous calcium coating glass paper and dehumidification properties of the prepared desiccant rotor are measured under regeneration temperatures of 50℃ and 70℃. The porous calcium rotor has up to 1.4 times as much dehumidify capacity as standard silica gel rotor. Moreover, the porous calcium rotor shows a sufficient dehumidification performance at a regeneration temperature of 50℃.
