BDF is derived from used cooking oil and vegetable oil, and it is highly expected to ameliorate environmental problems as it uses subsidies. However, since the common rail system appeared as improvement of combustion, it has reduced emissions. The common rail system is capable of high pressure [200MPa over] by electronic control, but at the same time it causes fuel deterioration and engine trouble such as deposits on the nozzle tip and supply pump. In this study, distilled BDF can be using as no trouble against common rail, and combustion improvement was attempted by using a Air mixture fuel. As a result, BDF Air mixture fuel can reduce NOx concentration by about 3.87% and fuel consumption rate by about 2.57% compared to BDF.
