Sequestration of liquid or supercritical CO2 into intermediate depth ocean or underground has been considered as a means to reduce atmospheric concentration of the greenhouse gas and to mitigate global warming. The dissolution behavior of CO2 into pure water was investigated under high pressure condition. Under lower temperature, CO2 clathrate hydrate film was formed at the interface between CO2 and water. Over about 305K, CO2 changes to supercritical one. LIF technique seems to be a good tool for measuring the thickness of boundary layer around CO2 droplet. It could be estimated from pH distribution around CO2 droplet dissolving into water. CO2 dissolved water emitted intense fluorescence dependently on its pH.
