Abstract
This is about lifting devices for rescue operation. Focusing on the rescue operation, one of the most laborious tasks is moving heavy objects, which have been collapsed houses or buildings. In case of a national disaster, there is a shortage of the rescue experts. Therefore we've started development of rescue devices for citizens who are not trained. In this type of rescue operation, the devices must be simple and easy to operate. "Power-assisted hoist" and "Crowbar jack" have been developed in order to overcome these difficulties. Both devices can move a heavy object by human power easily and speedy. So, in this study investigates the possibility of these devices for rescue operation.
