Abstract
Recently, the activity of the rescue teams increases by natural disaster's happening frequently all over the world. However, because many danger zones exist in the disaster site, the rescue teams cannot also easily enter it. In this situation, the search tool or robot instead of human is necessary, and being developed by many researchers. However, many of developed robots are heavy, and needs a big electric power for having the complex mechanism. Therefore, we develop the simple search device called "kurukuru3" that is composed from motors as drive system, a camera with white LED, a microphone and a speaker. Moreover, because the kurukuru3 is attached to the tip of a stick, it can be pushed into tiles and pebbles by the rescue staff. We evaluate these by tests and verify whether it is effective.
