Abstract
The passive dynamic control ("PDC") is a new mechanical system control method based on inherently safe design. In this note, the PDC is applied to a pneumatic system and its effectiveness and possibility are shown by experiments of PDC rotary pneumatic actuator equipped with an electromagnetic friction brake and a torque sensor.
