Pneumatic micro dispenser system for portable micro chemical device was proposed. The pressurization and decompression switchable micro pump chip, the PDMS sampling chip, and the 10-directional switching valve chip as the component of this dispenser were developed successfully. The pressurization and decompression switchable micro pump is actuated by switching inlet and outlet of the diaphragm micro pump. The rotary switching valve that have been developed up to now was applied to switching of pump outlet. Moreover, switching of pump outlet is easy to automate, since the TTL signal where the fluid is detected in micro sampling chip is made a trigger. The sampling chip can divide liquid every 0.5μL without any dead volume of sample by decompressing and the compressing air. This simple operation is caused by the original novel detecting method of micro fluid and check valves of hat shape. Moreover, the sampling chip was made disposable by fabricating it with PDMS. The switching valve chip selects the outlet that injects the dispensed sample. This chip can switch ten outlets by built-in micro solenoid (IN, 6V DC) under high leakage pressure (higher than 500kPa). Moreover, the micro dispenser system was assembled with these active chips by stacked in the holder unit. Experiments using this dispenser showed that this dispenser system can be applied to portable micro chemical device.
