Cell self-assembly for intracellular nano-device was proposed for bio-hybrid interface. The concept was that cell migration force was employed for insertion a conductive nano needle which was worked as intracellular electrode. We fabricated such a nano needle on the bottom of a micro well with cell adhesive pattern using focused ion beam technique. Cells only adhered on walls of a well and migrated into the well. The cell inserted the nano needle into living own cell body using own migration force. The cells with intracellular needles were alive for few days.
