Abstract
We developed the power assist ankle foot orthosis which set hemiplegia patient as the main objects. Based on the information from the sensor with which the waist was equipped, the joint of an ankle is operated actively. When the evaluation experiment was conducted using the developed system, compared with the ankle foot orthosis of the conventional fixed mount type, the improvement was able to see in the walk. Moreover, also generally that it is applicable thinks in addition to a hemiplegia patient.
