JSETEC: Japan Space Elevator Technology & Engineering Competition was started with 150m altitude vertical tether system in 2009. Vertical tether system is suspended from helium balloon. Altitude was 300m in 2010 and 600m in 2011. Our plan in 2012 is to get 1,200m altitude.
