Abstract
Research of the micro reactor is actively done in the field of chemical engineering. The slug flow is a flow in which two liquids appear alternately, forming striped pattern on a flow line, and it is effective to realize efficient chemical reaction or extraction. Moreover, the slug flow is effective in chemistry industry. However, solution of strong acid or strong alkali is used for the liquid used for a chemical reaction in chemistry industry in many cases. Authors reported development of the sliding valve for generating the slug flow actively. This paper reports the sliding valve manufactured using the material and coating which are tolerant to acid-proof and alkali-proof.
