Abstract
Our previous studies showed very interesting results by using Haptic-Interface (HI). When a participant was taught length of strait line only with haptic information, he reproduced this line length with and without visual information, whose results show differently unless he does not use visual information under learning. First, we revealed that this result was not caused by passive teaching through some experiments. Next, we generated dynamic disruption during reproduction under each condition. Then, we obtained similar results. Thus, this study proposes that the visual information under a memory-driven condition, which is made after an upper limb movement planning, has special relation to the haptic information caused by dynamic disruption. This effect is related with visual feedback like a sudden visual motion during an arm reaching movement. So we propose this visual and haptic interaction effect visual-haptic feedback. Moreover, this study showed some discussions about this effect.
