Abstract
This paper describes several engineering experiments related to robots and information technology for electronic engineering students in our school. The first year students learn the basics of software and hardware by using Mindstorms RCX robots. The programming language used for controlling robots is similar to C language. The upper year students build up robots with more enhanced skills. Each student should build an electric circuit by assembling several electronic parts. The program is made in a more primitive language such as PIC assembly language in order to learn the principals of microprocessors. At the fifth year, students should consider engineering design when building robots and programming. In some of the experiments, students build robots and application programs to give presentations in the open campus events or in front of other students. These attempts lead to motivation of students.
