Abstract
This paper describes a framework for "Robo-iku" (education facilitated by robots) for primary school and kindergarten levels. We believe the conception of Robo-iku is useful to give unified approach for the problem of avoidance of science and technology learning as well as providing young children with opportunities to develop various skills such as cooperative skills and/or skills to relate well to others. We illustrate practical experience of "MONODUKURI" workshop to design and build rescue robots for primary school level. A working definition of "Robo-iku" is provided.
