Abstract
This paper describes a modeling method that enables to generate 3D shape model with articulated link. Furniture such as refrigerator, shelf and cabinet are targeted in this research. The method is based on the tracking of 3D surfaces extracted by using depth images captured from a range camera. Both exterior and internal sides of an articlated part can be modeled as a 3D mesh model. The position of articulated link can also be estimated.
