Abstract
Currently, there is a need for highly safe life support robots. We developed the prototype hardware of the dependable robotic cart. It is a vehicle similar to an electric wheelchair. It is possible to detect a single fault by monitoring itself. In this paper, we describe our analysis in the viewpoint of functional Safety.
