In this study, a compact and modular underwater robot is proposed. By designing the robot in modules, the functionality of the system can be changed easily depending on the purpose of objective of the user. These modules are battery operated isolated smart systems that use wireless communications. This paper describes the development of the multipurpose actuator module of the robot. Multipurpose actuator module can be used in combination with a variety of attachments that require actuator. A prototype and pressure performance test are presented.
