Abstract
This study shows a new PVC (polyvinyl chloride) gel actuator. PVC gel consists of PVC, dibutyl adipate (DBA) and tetrahydrofuran (THF) and it shows electroactive response. Its characteristic is used for the PVC gel actuator. The PVC gel actuator has two gel sheets including cathode (foil electrode), and one anode (mesh electrode) sandwiched between them. While, a new PVC gel actuator consists of two foil electrodes and one gel non-woven. We named this a PVC gel non-woven actuator, and investigated its characteristic.
