Abstract
This paper proposes a markerless state estimation technique for an aerial extinguisher with an inert gas capsule using a depth sensor. The proposed technique extracts the capsule from each depth image. The state of the extinguisher at each time step is estimated from the extracted capsule. The proposed technique reduces the components of the aerial extinguisher. This makes the robot less costly and reduces pollution associated with fire extinguishment.
