In this paper, we propose a hand-up interaction model for a response to a hand-up greeting with a voice from a human. Initially, hand-up greetings between humans accompanied by voice greetings were analyzed. Subsequently, based on the analysis, a hand-up interaction model is proposed for generation of a hand-up greeting motion with humans. In this model, a robot generates a hand-up greeting motion accompanied by a voice greeting when human request one. Furthermore, a hand-up robot system that uses the proposed model is developed. The effectiveness of the proposed model is demonstrated by sensory evaluation using the developed hand-up robot system.
