Abstract
The purpose of this study is to propose a measurement method of grace. William Hogarth said that when the serpentine 3D curves are included in human motion trajectory, this motion seems graceful. From this, we attempt to model the serpentine 3D curve and extract it from the human hand trajectory. Using five dance motions, the number of serpentine curve features of each dances was calculated. The relationship between these numbers and the result of impression evaluation is discussed.
