Abstract

The final purpose of this study is to create a “Third Arm” that can help who want to do two concurrent tasks in housework. This paper attempts to point a target object by using the Face Vector for easy manipulating a Third Arm with human's instruction. However, it is hard to point a target object correctly during doing a dual task. Therefore we made a visual biofeedback system so that people can easily notice where is pointed. Experiments to point a target object were conducted to compare without and with visual biofeedback. The result of present study suggest that the Face Vector is useful when decide object in daily life if there is visual biofeedback of endpoint of it.
