Abstract

In this paper,it is considered to recognize the sound source on the ground by using an unmanned aircraft with a delta-shaped main wing that is called Kiteplane. This aircraft has a propeller for the thrust,to maintain the flying speed, but the rotation of the propeller is the main cause of ego-noise. As Kiteplane is able to glide even the propeller does not run, this paper proposes to stop the propeller so that the auditory signal can be recognized as far as the flight altitude is not significantly disturbed. The paper also proposes how to estimate the position of the sound source from the observed audio signal.
