Abstract

Tiles are used to protect an external covering of building usually. On the other hand, the tile may fall down to ground and injure peoples. The accident is caused by aging, therefore the inspection for the tile wall is required regularly. Workers who have technique have to inspect it by hand using hammering test. It costs time and lobar, and the hammering test may destructive it. Thus, developing of speedy and nondestructive system to inspect the tile wall is required in the construction industry. We inspect such a tile with nondestructive inspection (NDI) using microwave. This paper indicate detectability of the tile separation by detecting the imitation void included in the concrete at first.
