Abstract

The deterioration of the infrastructure is a serious problem nowadays, and the means to check easily and quickly for the building are demanded. The investigation of external wall is usually carried out by tapping with a hammer. Therefore we have to use a sky chair when we investigate external walls at the high place. But an investigation by use of a sky chair is dangerous and takes time. In this research, the wall impact acoustic investigation machine which has a function of tapping is produced to solve these problems. Then, we consider the way how to hang and swing the investigation machine from the roof of building with a wire. In this report, we propose a pendulum movement control system to move the investigation machine which is suspended from the roof by wire.
