Abstract

In this paper, we describe a learning activity using an underwater robot. The authors confirmed that underwater robot teaching materials exert the contents of the elementally mechanics on students. However, the fabrication of underwater robot teaching materials is more difficult than that of others, for these are difficult to use in education field. Accordingly, the authors have created underwater robot teaching materials that can be easily fabricated by diverting commercially available products and done the educational activities. As a result, We discovered that students learned by them selves not only elementary mechanics that was already known, but more highly difficult one and engineering by using teaching materials. From the above, the authors concluded that the underwater robot teaching materials these have been more utility value than that has been already known in the past.
