Abstract

In our previous study, we have developed a multilayered contraction type PVC gel actuator using stainless mesh electrodes. However, it faced the challenges of a notable weight and size, a limitation in flexibility and performance. In this study, to overcome these difficulties we develop a novel sheet actuator using PVC gel and flexible electrodes and evaluate some basic characteristics.
