Surgical training of medical doctors is particularly important to make successful difficult surgery such as brain surgery. In recent years, surgical simulators aiming at improving the surgical skills of doctors and understanding the contents of surgery has received attention. In this study, we develop a brain model to be incorporated into the bionic humanoid used as a surgical simulator that can be used instead of human. In order to reproduce the shape of the actual brain, we propose a brain model which is created by injecting urethane gel into a mold having the shape of the brain. In addition, an indentation test was conducted to evaluate the material properties of the urethane gel.
