Abstract

In recent years, the proportion of elderly people in the population is increasing. And, the work load is increasing to care workers. Actually, the onset of symptoms is also increasing. Especially back pain is a serious problem for care workers. And, postural change are one of its causes. In this study, we focus on bedsore on the factor of postural change. This is caused by pressure and shear force. We propose these force measurement and force-feedback enabled system. In this paper, we developed a mechanism of prototype and carried out a basic experiment. This result suggested these forces could be measured.
