We propose on-chip cell sorting system using piezo-driven dual membrane pumps. In our method, we integrate a microfluidic chip consisting of glass-Si-glass with piezoelectric actuators. The controllability and the response time of proposed flow control method are evaluated by visualizing and observing the streamline of sample flow. Then euglenas are sorted by using proposed on-chip cell sorting system. In this paper, we achieved that equivalent throughput of sorting was 50 kHz in the case of single shot and 12.5 kHz in the case of continuous sorting. In addition, we achieved 90.8% success rate and 86.4% purity of sorting, and 100% viability of euglenas after sorting.
